Atli Bollason i Guðmundur Úlfarsson/ instalacja audiowizualna

Unfiled to duet multidyscyplinarnych artystów Atli Bollason i Guðmundur ÚlfarssonUnfiled is a multidisciplinary artist duo from Reykjavik, Atli Bollason and Guðmundur Úlfarsson. They experiment and improvise with performances, audiovisual and static interpretations of works. In Fabryka Sztuki, their intention was to further refine the creative processes in order to create an audiovisual composition for the live performance. Thematically, their work focuses on information overload and the collapse of the relevance process. Signals and symbols are torn apart by manipulating the signal chain to conceal traditional meaning or uncover hidden connotations. The final result of the residency was an audiovisual installation that takes up the post-industrial architecture of Art Factory in Lodz.

Atli jest artystą wizualnym, komponuje również muzykę, pisze teksty krytyczne o muzyce i kulturze. Organizuje wydarzenia kulturalne. Pochodzi z Reykjaviku w Islandii, posiada tytuł magistra literatury angielskiej Uniwersytetu Concordia w Montrealu oraz licencjat literatury porównawczej Uniwersytetu Islandzkiego.

Guðmundur Úlfarsson ukończył wydział grafiki na Gerrit Rietveld Academie w 2010 roku. Jest także muzykiem tworzącym pod nazwą Good Moon Deer.

Residency's finale took place on 10 August 2022 in Fabryka Sztuki in Łódź. The duo also performed in Łódź on 4 August 2022 and on 19 October 2023.
